A Journey into the ’80s and the World of Ghostbusters: November 22 at the GAMM in Rome

On November 22, 2025, the GAMM – Game Museum in Rome opens its doors for a special day dedicated to the imagination of the 1980s and the timeless magic of Ghostbusters Legacy. This event is designed for fans, families, and the curious, who will be immersed in a nostalgic yet surprisingly contemporary atmosphere, thanks to the joint work of Ghostbusters Italia, the museum, and various cultural organizations that have preserved and narrated this iconic pop universe for years.

From the morning, visitors will be welcomed into an environment brimming with memorabilia, sets, and curiosities, with association members ready to guide the public through anecdotes, souvenir photos, and little surprises related to the saga and the golden age of pop culture. It’s a way to relive a period that continues to influence music, cinema, and video games, and which on this occasion returns to the forefront through a dedicated exhibition and specially designed multimedia content.

The afternoon will kick off with a moment dedicated to a passion for the 1980s, featuring Raiders of the Lost 80s, who will introduce a playful and engaging space centered on shared memories and pop culture, recounted with humor and community spirit. Immediately afterward, the museum will host a talk show bringing together industry professionals, educators, and well-known figures: among them, GAMM director Marco Accordi Rickards, content creators who have been chronicling the 1980s and 1990s for years, and representatives of partner associations who will offer contributions, greetings, and reflections on the cultural value of that decade and its legacy.

The second part of the talk will be entirely dedicated to Ghostbusters Legacy and the creative world surrounding it, with contributions and testimonials from voice actors, experts, and enthusiasts who will delve into the legacy of the saga and its recent cinematic relaunch. There will also be special video greetings and exclusive contributions, including those from the Italian community connected to the famous ECTO-1.

The day will conclude with a thank you from the organizing associations and a moment dedicated to all participants, including symbolic certificates and official photos, to take home not just a memory, but the shared energy of an event built with passion and a spirit of collaboration.
