GAMES & COMICS – A Day of Comics, Games, and Creativity

GAMM, in collaboration with LaCOMICSkids, will host a full day dedicated to children and teens to explore the world of comics, illustration, and video games with activities designed for every age group.
During the event, the LaCOMICSkids SummART Camp will be presented — the creative summer camp starting on June 23.

Day Program

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Presentation of LaCOMICSkids and the SummART Camp courses

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Comic Workshop

• Ages 9–12: “GAME CHARACTERS: Create Your Avatar”
  Design your own character, imagine their backstory and mission. Customize them with different skins to help them reach their goals.

• Ages 13–17: “Comic LEVEL UP”
  What monster must you defeat to level up? Create your comic page showing the epic battle that leads you to victory.

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Illustration Workshop

• Ages 9–12: “ILLUSTRAWORLDS: A Dive into Creativity”
  What vibe defines your game environment? From the cheerful tones of Kirby to the dark mood of Five Nights at Freddy’s, create the background of your adventure.

• Ages 13–17: “NEW HORIZON: Adventure at Pencil’s Reach”
  Draw your island inspired by the world of Animal Crossing: unexpected animals, impossible objects, and out-of-control seasons. Can you create a consistent world?
