Open 7 days a week, in a location of approximately 700 square meters divided into two levels and three thematic macro-areas, GAMM awaits you for an immersive and interactive journey combining cutting-edge digital content with a collection of unique pieces promoting the interactive medium as a cultural form of art and expression.

GAMM aims to be a place where the history and creative cultural value of video games can be explored through an innovative, highly technological experience. From its origins to the latest developments in the medium, visitors from all walks of life will be able to discover all the details of GAMM in the heart of the Eternal City.

GAMM Dome Digital Archive

GAMM Game Museum houses exclusive content in the GAMM Dome. Our digital archive is unique in its kind, enriched by contributions from industry experts and pioneers. This collection represents a valuable resource for researchers, enthusiasts, and curious minds, offering historical insights, interviews, and documents that illustrate the evolution and cultural impact of video games. Through these direct testimonies, the museum contributes to preserving and celebrating the industry’s historical memory, making it accessible to the public.

GAMM is among the founding members and promoters of EFGAMP, the European Federation of Game Archives, Museums, and Preservation Projects. This Federation aims to find new opportunities of digital preservation, with a particular attention to video games. Through an international network of partners, EFGAMP has the mission of promoting the creation of archives and enhancing the accessibility to the digital heritage

Technology

The GAMM Museum takes visitors on a unique journey that combines history, culture, and innovation. With over 120 interactive screens, gaming monitors, totems, and an impressive LED Wall, the museum serves as a key destination for families, enthusiasts, and industry professionals. DP Vision is the official sponsor of the GAMM Museum for the 2025-2027 triennium.

The installation includes over 120 Samsung devices: 43” and 65” professional monitors, including touchscreens, designed to deliver vibrant colors and high reliability. The gaming stations are equipped with 27” curved gaming monitors, perfect for an immersive and engaging experience. A 130” LED Wall and a next-generation laser projector complete the technological setup, providing stunning large-scale visuals. DP Vision managed every phase of the project, from installation to display configuration, also providing specialized training to the museum staff on the use of MagicInfo, the remote management software that optimizes daily operations.
