From July 1 to July 19, the museum will host 10 special evenings dedicated to the final stages of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, bringing together the excitement of real-world football and virtual competition in a unique experience in the heart of Rome.

Live Matches on the Giant LED Wall

For some of the tournament’s most exciting matches, GAMM will broadcast the games live on a giant LED wall, allowing fans, families, and visitors to experience the atmosphere of the World Cup together.

These special evenings will follow the road to glory, from the Round of 32 all the way to the highly anticipated Final.

FIFA 26 Tournaments, Football Quizzes and Challenges

The build-up to kick-off will be anything but boring.

Before each match, visitors will be able to take part in open FIFA 26 tournaments, challenging fellow football fans and testing their skills on the virtual pitch.

But that’s not all. Throughout the evenings, guests can also participate in football-themed quizzes and games, covering World Cup history, legendary players, iconic moments, and fascinating football trivia. A fun and engaging way to celebrate the beautiful game beyond the action on the field.

Special Guest: Emiliano Spinelli (S-Venom)

One of the highlights of the program will take place on July 10, featuring a special appearance by Emiliano Spinelli, better known in the competitive gaming scene as S-Venom.

One of Italy’s most accomplished virtual football players, Spinelli is a former PES champion and currently serves as Head Coach of the Italian eFootball National Team, playing a key role in the development of Italy’s competitive football gaming scene on the international stage.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet him, hear about his experience in esports and virtual football, and share their passion for competitive gaming and football.

Food, Drinks and Late-Night Museum Access

Throughout all ten evenings, visitors will be able to purchase food and beverages, making every event a relaxed and enjoyable social gathering.

The museum will also remain open until the end of each match, giving guests the chance to explore the exhibitions, play games, and experience GAMM in a completely different atmosphere.

Visitors will find original consoles featuring some of the saga’s most beloved games, collectibles, video content dedicated to Sonic’s history, and a selection of curiosities related to the world of SEGA and the birth of the character.

The event will also feature tournaments, themed activities, and community events, with the aim of engaging both longtime fans and a younger audience who have become acquainted with Sonic through the films and more recent productions.

A special guest will also be present at the inauguration on June 19th, whose name we will announce in the coming days.

The initiative is part of GAMM’s mission to promote video games as a cultural, artistic, and generational phenomenon, through events that combine memory, entertainment, and audience participation.

For a special night, the museum will open its doors from 8:00 PM to midnight with a special admission fee of €1, offering the public an immersive journey through the history of video games, encompassing culture, gaming, and interactive entertainment.

A museum to experience
The GAMM is unique in Italy, a space dedicated to the history and evolution of video games, designed for enthusiasts, families, the curious, and new generations.

During the evening, visitors can explore the museum’s exhibition, composed of thematic and chronological areas that recount over 50 years of interactive exhibits through 150 monitors, thousands of original consoles, video games, historical materials, and playable stations.

Visitors will be able to play freely on historic and modern consoles, experience the authentic atmosphere of an ’80s arcade in the Arcade Room, and visit the Experience Room, which hosts temporary exhibitions, next-gen stations, a VR area, and video content dedicated to gaming culture.

Among the exhibitions on display during Museum Night, the exhibition dedicated to the history of Commodore will also be open.

Special activities of the evening
The Museum Night at GAMM will be enriched with special activities included in the ticket price.

The permanent “Minecraft Cubes” Lab Station will be open throughout the evening, a creative space dedicated to children where they can build, decorate, and customize cubes inspired by the world of Minecraft, which they can then take home.

At 9:15 pm, “The Videogame Quizzone” will take place, a challenge open to all enthusiasts with questions, trivia, and great gaming classics.

At 10:15 PM, the special “Mario Kart Blind Co-op” tournament will take place. This unique pairing competition features one participant blindfolded while their partner acts as navigator, indicating turns, obstacles, and the route. The best-coordinated pair will win.
